On that I can agree. My favorite album and the most Offspring-y in my opinion is Ixnay on the Hombre, though I have to say that I'm pleasantly surprised by the two newest albums. Though they sound a bit more mature, you can still say for sure that it's the Offspring.
When I was young, there was a god with infinite power protecting me. Is there anyone else who felt that way? And was sure about it? but the first time I fell in love, I was thrown down - or maybe I broke free - and I bade farewell to God and became human. Now I don't have God's protection, and I walk on the ground without wings, but I don't regret this hardship. I want to live as a person. -Arina Tanemura

Haha, you can say what you want. I wasn't expecting you to actually like that one. It was before Mike Patton joined the band, and the previous lead singer is an acquired taste, to put it mildly.
As for Nine Inch Nails, if you truly are interested, check out the album "Pretty Hate Machine" as it was the only one that came out in the 80's.

Ah, the Eagles. Or, as I'd like to call them, the Band That People Only Know For Hotel California (And Hotel California Has No Meaning)

Fuck no, my dad is a soft rock fan, so I've grown up with (among other bands) the Eagles

And (via hitch-hiking Douglas Adams) Journey of the Sorceror.
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist. This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair. Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second. That means there's a situation vacant.'

Or as I'd like to call it, An Instrumental Track That Only Sounds Awesome For About 30 Seconds.
I'm sorry about this guys. I got in a barfight with Joe Walsh in the 90s and haven't forgave him since.

Actually I'm a fan of the whole track (especially when drunk though that's not compulsory). Regardless, I'm afraid it rather drives a stake through the heart of your "people only know them for" claim.

I've never met a person (in real life, I mean) who knew the Eagles did that track, actually.

Really? The opposite is true in my case. Then again, I do have some eclectic acquaintances.

Why the hell are you getting into bar fights with homely, addled old women?
