GC, the reason we're waiting for you to concede this point is not to rub it in your face. Rather, I would feel the same joy hearing you admit that homosexuality is actually natural that I felt when ronedee confessed that he would be conflicted if god ever told him to kill someone. Honesty is the road to respect, and I have a feeling you're not an amoral person.

I too would like to see the rarity of a christian in a religious debate actually admitting an error and moving past it, mainly because that's like seeing hen's teeth. Usually GC just sees fit to ignore anything that conflicts with his position though, so... I ain't holding out hope.

I suppose the downside to GC et al. with backpedaling is that it leaves god in the cold, looking like an erroneous schmuck. Better to keep a united front than open that can of worms.

Does any one here ever read bible verses when they are given? I sure don't. I'm happy to read anything (within reason) that one of us cares to write. But I'm no fan of the bible. Christian are welcome to post here and I'm glad they do. If you include a very short quote from the bible I may take a look but I couldn't be any less interested in what the bible has to say.

We all know that the Bible is not the word of any god. Throwing verses at us like a monkey tossing feces is no way to demonstrate a valid point.

I mean, honestly, GC... it's not that hard to google "homosexuality in animals" and find a comprehensive Wiki page which cites impressive, scientific sources. Hint: the Bible isn't one of them.

The electron transport chain was such a novel idea that when it was first suggested most scientists outright rejected it, but now it's mainstream biology.
