I'm a YEC. Challenge me.
RE: I'm a YEC. Challenge me.
What part of my question was ambiguous, Max?

The WIN/Gallup End of Year Survey 2013 found the US was perceived to be the greatest threat to world peace by a huge margin, with 24% of respondents fearful of the US followed by: 8% for Pakistan, and 6% for China. This was followed by 5% each for: Afghanistan, Iran, Israel, North Korea. -LINK

By that logic we share no DNA with reptiles, fish, arachnids, insects, etc? Wink

Who the said that? "Mammal" does not mean no relationship to those outside "Mammal", it merely means enough difference in time and changes to evolve with different attributes. ALL life is ultimately still made up of DNA.

We are made up of DNA just like grass and bacteria. I am sorry that some cant wrap their tiny brains around that, but that is their baggage, not mine.Wink

I emphasised the word "any", and I can't believe I'm explaining this, but being a mammal has 0 to do with it sharing "any" dna with humans. Your reply was that "the reason it shares ANY dna with humans is that it is mammal"...

Given that he was responding to a different quote, I'd suggest he was adding to the answer about common descent you got earlier, rather than replying directly to your question.

Aractus,

As I am not the only person who misunderstood your point further explanation seems reasonable. See Brian37's post above yours.

Oh - and that wasn't my reply = ""the reason it shares ANY dna with humans is that it is mammal"

Other than that - well done.

LOL, whining would indicate that I thought it could change anything... yeah, lol

I will point out how hypocritical that was, but I'm sure that much is obvious...

Brief background: After studying creationism, I was encouraged to see how strong this model has become over the recent decade.
It caused me to want to search out and read arguments AGAINST creation. And the more I read them, the more convinced I became: the creation model is actually very logically solid.

But just to make sure I’ve done a thorough search, I decided to come here and ask members of an atheist forum. I’ve certainly done plenty of searching myself, googling, bing-ing, etc. I’m pretty sure I’ve read all of them, but perhaps you know of some more.
Here’s links to the ‘best’ ones I’ve found (I not included the lesser quality ones):

http://www.scientificamerican.com/articl...reationist (As a YEC, I particularly enjoyed this one)

So, if you have any other good ones, please post them here and I will read them.

**REQUEST: PLEASE keep this thread on topic: posting challenges to YEC.
I am not interested in starting a debate, nor defending myself. I REALLY do want good information in response, from credible sources when possible (not just random thoughts).

(Fellow creationists: please don’t jump in and ramble, just listen. In fact, if you do that same research I’ve done, you might too come out very encouraged by what you believe)

On the assumption this isn't Poe, try this.

Point 1: To espouse YECism is to deny ALL OF SCIENCE. YECism isn't just refuted by evolutionary biology, but by geology, paleontology, cosmology, chemistry, physics, archaeology... If you want to remain a consistent YEC you must REJECT ALL SCIENCE as a anti-theistic conspiracy .

Point 2: You're on the internet

If you read the gospels you can see what the people who wrote the fucking gospels attributed to "jesus." Your boy never wrote a word, pal. If he existed at all he was an illiterate peasant.
