Skepticism is not a position; it is an approach to claims.

Thanks Chas, you saved me the trouble. Have a kudos.
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist.  This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair.  Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second.  That means there's a situation vacant.'

I think the bar should be that someone has to prove that theism is a religion before they get to try to pull it on atheism.

But that'd be "for all intense purposes." An intensive purpose would be a quick one, whereas an intense purpose would be a hard or powerful one. Mixing up the two could be dangerous!

Thanks. One of the English phrases I tend to get incorrect.
But if we walk in the light, as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, His Son, purifies us from all sin.

An intensive purpose would in fact be a thorough one, which rather implies anything other than haste.
