The flood?
Lots wife being turned to stone for taking a quick peek?
The whole of humanity being cursed for the eating of one fruit?

Wow they really lower the standards these days don't they?

The story is a theological exploration into the power of God, and Job doesn't take it laying down. He gets pissed off just like a lot of you guys. But he ultimately keeps the faith and is rewarded.

The moral being, God bitch-slaps who deems bitch-slappable, because ultimately the real stuff comes after this. Don't pretend to even come close to knowing or understanding His power.
