You do realize that no one is under any obligation to believe unsubstantiated claims, right? So why waste everyone's time?
For someone so well educated and great at space photographs, you are having trouble understanding what I said, right?

I understood what you said. I also understood what you said elsewhere. It's not like either of us are new to the forum. You have made statements about your beliefs, and it is clear that you expect us to take you at your word. Sorry, Charlie, that isn't how it works.

Stating what I know to be truth does not mean I believe you will take it as truth, I do hope someone would investigate if what I say peaks their interest, like you said, we've been here for a while and I know how others see things.

God loves those who believe and those who do not and the same goes for me, you have no choice in this matter. That puts the matter of total free will to rest.

He knows the voices in his head are from God.
It just so happens this god goes by the name "schizophrenia" amongst people who investigated these things more thoroughly and rigorously then any prophets or saints could have imagined.

We do, in fact, investigate what you say, and that's why we so frequently call you on your bullshite. The fact remains that if you can't be bothered to support your claims, no one is under any obligation to believe that they have any credibility. And you apparently are good with that. So again, if that is the case, why are you here? What's the point?

Because he is both petulent enough to believe merely because he wanted to believe, and insecure enough to need affirmation for the result of his petulence?

I'm here to learn more about God, seems an odd place to do that, eh. But not really, I get questions here that I will not get at church, so when I find the answer for myself it serves to strengthen my knowledge of God's truth. No one here investigates what I say except for DP, even though we disagree on almost every point I have respect for a man that will get out the Bible and investigate what's said.

OMG, you really are out there in la la land. Poor dear. I'd pray for you except - - - I don't believe in prayer! So I guess you are screwed. Lots of us have investigated what you say, and have found it to be utter crap. Sorry, I cannot be kind about this. Because you would have us believe not only that you have your god's phone number, but that you two have frequent conversations. The fact is that in our culture, when one talks to god, we call it prayer, and say that that is acceptable behavior. But when god talks back, then a serious malfunction has occurred. Get some help, dude.

I don't actually have a bible to refer to, the books in my house are all fiction, Tom Clancy, Lee Child, some others... (rather a small collection as of now).
I suppose I could look up the verses online. But if I had one bible, wouldn't I actually need many others because there are different versions?
This does seem like an odd place to learn more about God, and I wonder how much you, GodsChild, look at the other religions in the forum. What do you learn there?
Thanks to Cinjin for making it more 'sig space' friendly.

The English Standard is a good translation if you're going for just one. I do not really look at other religions, they have nothing to offer me.

All of them offer at least as much as Christianity in soothing your infantility, GC, but most can't begin to match Christianity in what they would take from your cognitive potential.
