Relax, there's no need to feel offended now.

Life is too short to be wasting your time and energy being "offended". I am sure we all have better things to do than to waste our energy on crying about what others say or think of us. My little sister pissed me off a long time ago so bad that I completely cut her ass off for about 5 years till she decided to come forward and make up. No sweat off of my back I just live my life to the fullest and enjoy the ride while I am here.

Yeah you're a real gentle spirit chatty. Your definition of taking no offence and mine appear to be poles apart Smile

RE: Why are people offended by insults?
ALL my family has pissed me off to no end one time or another as I am sure I have pissed each and everyone of them off at one time or another as I'm sure they pissed each other off one time or another.

But none of us have ever, ever "cut off" each other. None of us has ever held that grudge "till (they) decided to come forward and make up."

That's 5 years gone for you and your sis chatty. Five years you can never get back.

If there is the one thing I can consider myself luckier than most about, that would be my family has always been tight-nit, close and always in best spirits with each other.

And everyone of them offends me. But I love them no less.

Unless they kilt me dog or something like that, then that'd be different.
I used to tell a lot of religious jokes. Not any more, I'm a registered sects offender.
