I don't get what you mean? I thought the only requirements were that you had to have a ps3?

Ah, I was thinking more along the lines of a dedicated server. If I have to run the server on my PS3, that's problematic - mine overheats if I leave it on 24/7.

Oh well I guess I don't really get how it works on ps3. I'll have to check it out.

Keep in mind I know almost 100% less than you. I do know how it works on the PC.

It's like a private match on other multiplayer games but the map is saved by the hosts console. I think you can whitelist other players to be able to access the save while the original host is offline. That's how it is on the Xbox version if I remember rightly.

Seriously? It makes me wonder why they didn't keep the ability to connect to a real server.

My interest in paying real money for this just went down the drain.

I dont get why this method is so bad? I actually think its a pretty good way of doing it. I've only been playing offline with a friend so far and I think it's well worth the money for that alone. I spent 20 quid on dishonored before minecraft as I thought it was the better deal, frankly I wish I'd of just bought minecraft for ps3 right from the start.
