1. You don't accept the dogma. In your own language, I would hope that if you were sick you'd go see the doctor.
2. I just go on the evidence

Number 2 leaves us wondering what your evidence is.
Healthy people don't need a doctor.
Who said that? A small thanks to the resident Theists..

He does that Let's see what you're claiming here: God prevents self harm, by which I assume you mean suicide? God doesn't punish the ignorant? So if we have heard your claim God exists, and still require evidence, and don't accept Jesus Christ due to a lack of evidence, and he still sends us to hell, you define that as "not punishment"? We've been asking you theists to provide some evidence for God's existence, and suddenly because you don't have evidence to support your claim, we are at fault? Are you really this dense? Also, why didn't you reveal this bit about being psychic before?
lol
Suicide? Nope If you are ignorant: think there should be material evidence of the immaterial, then God not punishing the ignorant would be you not going to hell You are not at fault for your mental incapacity. See above. RE: A small thanks to the resident Theists..

Here's mine: thanks
So Frodo, do you agree that God is something on-board? (February 28, 2014 at 6:11 pm)fr0d0 Wrote:(February 28, 2014 at 5:58 pm)Bad Writer Wrote: Number 2 leaves us wondering what your evidence is. If you're afraid that we will reject your evidence, then you're probably right. That should tell you that it was probably never true evidence to begin with. Please prove us wrong about this though; we welcome new evidence! (February 28, 2014 at 3:15 am)fr0d0 Wrote: Salvation isn't a delayed promise, it's immediate. Your sins are forgiven. How it it possible to lose salvation, To no longer believe? Hell/ death/ separation from God/ punishment are an immediate result of sin. Life/ salvation/ forgiveness of sin are likewise immediate. So that's why the priests feel free to do whatever they want to little boys. They were saved. Immediately. Anything they do from then on, is just .... covered in Christs' blood. Is that what you're saying Fr0d0? That any sins anyone makes after accepting Jesus as the son of god as a sacrifice for sins, are non-sins? Don't matter? They'll still get to go to heaven?
If I were to create self aware beings knowing fully what they would do in their lifetimes, I sure wouldn't create a HELL for the majority of them to live in infinitely! That's not Love, that's sadistic. Therefore a truly loving god does not exist!
Quote:The sin is against an infinite being (God) unforgiven infinitely, therefore the punishment is infinite. Dead wrong. The actions of a finite being measured against an infinite one are infinitesimal and therefore merit infinitesimal punishment. Quote:Some people deserve hell. I say again: No exceptions. Punishment should be equal to the crime, not in excess of it. As soon as the punishment is greater than the crime, the punisher is in the wrong.
