I'm in my early 30s and I just wish we could be wise when we are teenagers, so we could avoid all the pitfalls of adulthood. Lol But, experience (and pain) are good teachers, I guess. Life is a journey, one age or phase not being better than another.

In my experience, sex is also good with the wrong partner. It's like mashed potatoes... you've got to really be awful to screw that up.

Sex served a totally different purpose for me in my teens/early twenties than it does now. It used to be sport, conquest. Now since I growed all up and developed empathy, sex is SO much better.

There's no way I would hold out for three months if I was attracted to her. My rule is, no sex on the first date, and that's mostly because if you do that, they'll think you were just looking for a one-night stand and weren't really interested in them.
