RE: What's everyone up to right now?

I just finished reading two books.
The Wolves of Midwinter by Anne Rice. I have to state with honesty, even though The Wolf Gift Chronicles intrigue me, there seems to be something lacking in her writing style that The Vampire Chronicles possessed in abundance.
Innocence by Dean Koontz. Sometimes, the man inputs particular religious themes into his novels, and this is one of those times. Other than the religious theme, that I actually found to be quite tedious, it was not a half-bad novel.

Local news now.
After hearing her Cotton commercial where she sings that cotton song ("The touch, the feel, the fabric of our lives") I wondered why anyone thought she was a good singer and gave her a TV show where she sang - she sounds awful and out of tune.
She's really cute, though.

I was surprised to see someone from San Angelo, TX on "The Voice". She was damn good too! What a small world...

Drooling over this bottle of Pinot Noir... I want it now but it's entirely too early.

Poppycock. It is never too early to start drinking. After all, it is evening somewhere in the world.

Since I am here at the library, I have decided to check out some books in relation to atheism. I already have Dawkins' The God Delusion here with me, and I am going to do an internet search for any others that I might like to read. I am not normally a fan of non-fiction, but I figured it is about time I read some of these books other atheists have read.

I'm nauseated. And oddly, I seem to be relating it to my upcoming cruise, as if the very fact that I ever suffer nausea means that I will be seasick, even though I don't have a history of ever getting seasick.

I have decided to also read: Hitchens' God Is Not Great as well as Harris' The End of Faith.

I loved Harris' Christian Nation, but I'm just so horrible at wanting to read in general. Glad I stuck with that one, though.
