Where did the universe come from? Atheistic origin science has no answer.

i personally didn't come with anything, but maybe you can.
So what you are asking is: if an imaginary being who could create anything actually existed, would he be able to create anything? I would have to say that yes, by definition he would be able to create anything.

Theories are structures of ideas that explain and interpret facts. Facts don't go away when scientists debate rival theories to explain them. Einstein's theory of gravitation replaced Newton's in this century, but apples didn't suspend themselves in midair, pending the outcome. And humans evolved from ape- like ancestors whether they did so by Darwin's proposed mechanism or by some other yet to be discovered."

the universe's purpose is being finalized with the human species in obtaining a high-tech global society. 13.75 billion years was required to make that happen. in the first 9.5 billion years heavy elements were manufactured from stellar furnaces; these elements are essential for the formation of heavy-metal-rich planets such as earth. took around the next 3.5 billion years for radiation sources to subside enough to permit elementary life; and around a billion years for plant and animal recycling to build up bio-deposits for energy.
so why all this time and resources for the human species? it provides a framework to introduce us to God and his attributes. it also introduces us to our human nature, some parts good, some not. what's not good is it has the capacity for sin and evil. it also causes us to run from God and even argue He really doesn't exist. God's plan is for individuals is to partake in the new creation but they need to accept the freely given remedy to deal with that sinful nature because it won't be allowed in the new creation. so we find ourselves undoubtedly in the last 1% of the universe's existence making a decision where we go from here.

Why does every nut-job feel we're in the end times? Something about the fact that you are here feels like the play is ending? Give me a break.

That is quite an illogical assumption.

First of all, sin is merely a silly human construct created by man who hates anything that disagrees with how he views the world as it should be. There is nothing deific about sin.

Secondly, evil is nothing supernatural. It is merely man behaving according to his personal morals.

Only the blind and ignorant, those preferring the comfortable lie over the harsh truth, continue to claim god's existence when confronted by the underwhelming evidence for his existence.

Yes, that would be the cultish way of getting normally reasonable people to discard reality for fantasy.

You know the bible would make a better comic book than it does a holy book.

Or conversely, none of this time or resources were expended for the benefit on the human species. We're just a lucky roll of the dice on the way to whatever the actual end result turns out to be. Based on current knowledge the end result for Earth is that it'll be turned into a molten ball in four or five million (billion?) years and then perhaps absorbed into whatever the Sun happens to become before it finally dies. The universe, oblivious to such minor goings on, will march along on its own way to eventual heat-death in five trillion years.

I suppose that's much more depressing than knowing that you'll spend eternity telling god what a swell guy he is, while trying not to think of the tens of billions of people shrieking in agony as the eternal torment machine just grinds away, and hoping that you don't do anything to get god's attention when he's in "one of those moods."

Yes, yes. This hole is a perfect size for that puddle. It must have been designed for it. It's all very post hoc.

It all makes sense if you think about it. An omnipotent God, with limitless powers, creates a universe with billions upon billions of planet and stars just so that a tiny planet on the very outer reaches of said universe, can home lil ol' us.

So we can become technologically advanced.

Are you sure?

And worship that god.
And come to be with it after death.... or else...

I wonder... did this god also put humanoids on other planets so it could enhance its worship-base and get even more minions?

Why can't the guy just come by and tell us all of that in a clear cut way?... most of us will be happy to comply.
