I been demonstrating it for 12 pages now, wonder why you can't see it?

Saying 'I think this is proof of God and that is proof of God and this other thing is proof of God' is not demonstrating, it is claiming. The more claims you make, the more claims you have to support. Were I you, I'd take a shot at establishing just one of them, and I'd pick the one I think is the easiest. All you have to do is show why God is a better explanation for something than natural processes.

The Iliad is just as historical. Troy really existed, the Trojan War really happened, etc. Do you think that if follows from some parts being historically true that the supernatural parts are true as well? If it does not follow, then it also does not follow for the Bible.

Facts are facts; period!! Its a fact that simon the cyrenian carried jesus cross, archaeologist found simons bone box, we got the mans bones. Fact. Its a fact that the high preist Caiaphas slapped jesus on the face, we got that jokers bones as well. jesus was baptized on a hill called Golgotha, we got that hill, he was baptized in the river Jordan, its still there! Jesus had two female friends, mary and Martha, archaeologist have found their house. All that is in the bible. And hundreds of finds like that.

What happened to your claim you weren't Christian or Religious?

Quote:Most modern scholars believe that John the Baptist performed a baptism on Jesus, and view it as a historical event to which a high degree of certainty can be assigned.[2][3][4][5] James Dunn states that the historicity of the baptism and crucifixion of Jesus "command almost universal assent".[7] Dunn states that these two facts "rank so high on the 'almost impossible to doubt or deny' scale of historical facts" that they are often the starting points for the study of the historical Jesus.[7] John Dominic Crossan states that it is historically certain that Jesus was baptised by John in the Jordan.[6]

If these are all facts, why can't you support them with anything?

That it's a 'who' instead of a 'what' is your burden of proof for which to show evidence.

Hey, if you keep showing them a cat, and they keep calling it a dog, what can you do? For an hour I have not posted more evidence, because we are stuck on what is evidence and what is not.

He's a Christian. He just is trying to lend credence to his claims by not labelling himself so. His misunderstanding is that we don't refute claims because they're Christian, we refute them because they are refutable, and turn out without fail to be bullshit.

He also has a disappointing proclivity in re-defining everything so that it suits his purposes. His assertions are evidence, he's not a christian but believes the Bible is historically accurate...
"There remain four irreducible objections to religious faith: that it wholly misrepresents the origins of man and the cosmos, that because of this original error it manages to combine the maximum servility with the maximum of solipsism, that it is both the result and the cause of dangerous sexual repression, and that it is ultimately grounded on wish-thinking." ~Christopher Hitchens, god is not Great

You're the only one here that doesn't understand what evidence is, so drop the we shit.

When people ask me who created god, I always say he created parts of himself. The way I know, is the exact same way you know things; I studied, I searched, I looked and I examined; and I found a few things out.

As a general rule, we don't think we know anything about creation because we learned what people thousands of years ago thought about it, we only think we've learned what they thought. They had no way of knowing the truths of our origins and didn't demonstrate knowledge unavailable to iron age people.
