Look there's no use in discussing this further, this is how it works in europe, in the US it works differently, that's just the way things are, there is no use in arguing pros and cons further, europe is relatively free and we are happy with it, except with the joining the EU part. And by the way, tell me how free the US really is when you are supposedly ruled by an oligarchy and not everyone gets equal opportunities?

We do, trust me, I want dangerous people chained and I'm happy about it The only chain legit to complain about is the EU, that's a real chain and in my opinion it is becoming a dictatorship on a regional level. Some countries already suppress anti-eu manifestations. By the way, how many chains do you americans have? Oligarchy? Lack of healthcare for poor people? Freedom to buy guns regardless of mental integrity? It that is not a social chain, explain me what it is.

I'd rather live in a country where actual wrong-doing is punished, not the potential of it.

Well if the wrong-doing does a lot of harm, it's better to prevent it's potential from the beginning. I already know this is an abomination for americans, it doesn't matter, it's something we europeans see differently and it's considered normal and safe to make propagation of ideologies based on discrimination illegal, just a standard procedure. Maybe a few countries will still allow it, but they are exceptions

Oh and read the whole argument, because we see the propaganda itself as a bad-doing, not as a potential, we see it as harmful in it's essence, it doesn't matter if other results come as a consequence, the act of propagating itself is already considered harmful and a crime.

I stopped discussing pros and cons a few posts ago when I said, "If you're OK with that, that's your business." Now I'm discussing the Orwellian nature of your beliefs on freedom.

Not interested in discussing my beliefs on freedom... I've done my research, causes and effects, and reached the conclusion banning fascism constitutionally was a good decision. Germany is one of the strongest economies in europe and they never had any problems with it. But if americans think differently, that's their perspective, no problem about it. If you had a few decades of real fascism in america I'm sure you wouldn't take things so lightly.

So allowing behavior that promotes taking away our freedom makes us more free? I'm tired of discussing this, americans can be ok with how things work for them, I'm ok with things being like they are now in europe. I don't want people with headlines saying we should execute gays and immigrants.

I don't understand how prohibiting can ever be more freedom than allowing. I'm not saying I disagree with prohibiting nazi propaganda. I'm not even offering an opinion on that. I'm just saying prohibiting it does not make you more free.
