If valuing the freedom of ideas and thought makes someone crazy, then you’re right, Americans are crazy. However, being crazy has gotten us quite far in the world.

For once Waldork has a point.... people like him are stupid...not crazy.

Why would a non-Christian want to work at the Ark exhibit?

Here's the thing: there are laws in place preventing employee discrimination, as there should be. Job openings for the Ark Encounter, phrased as a tourist attraction in order to apply for tax incentives, require that the applicant be young earth creationist. This is not a legal thing to do.

It's not about a bunch of atheists lining up to work at the Ark whatever, it's about this organization wanting to have its cake and eat it too.

The Creation Museum and AIG’s role in the Ark Encounter are both non-profit, nice try though.

Says the old man who has made a habit of getting destroyed in debates by someone he claims is “stupid”. My favorite was when I asked you for a reference and you linked me to somebody’s blog. Classic Min.

I am sorry but that is simply incorrect ESq. A person’s views on the age and formation of the Earth are not a protected class (try being young-Earth and getting a job at the Museum of Natural History). As a non-public entity AIG can hire whomever they want and for whatever reason they like.

Statler Waldorf

Let me see if I get this straight Statler Waldorf. You are refuting and article that I didn't wrote?
Because you do realize that since the link was altered(I'm asking for technical assistance I will receive notice from the next 24 to 48 hours to see if anyone else knows what caused it) I did copy paste the article right.

So okay you found some... well you disagree with some of the stuff written there. Well the guy who wrote this article is this fellow.

Feel free to contact him and tell him all this.

The only thing that I've wrote was:

Disneyland is in California, not Kentucky there bub.
But they're both in America aren't they? But okay em different state laws I suppose so…eh… sorry?

One question are you one of those guys who have this complex to prove themselves and others that he is the smartest guy in the room?

There was a name for that wasn't it? But I can't remember.

Because this is the first time that I've seen someone writing larger replies than me in a thread that I've made(and believe me that ain't something that I see every day). Normally I would engage in a whole speech battle debate like I always do. With replies like yours that refute every sentence (but like I said before I didn't wrote this article so whoever you want to refute isn't here pal). And believe me I've made some huge replies in the past.

For more information ask these people:
Mister agenda
rexbeccarox
Losty
Luckie
Muslim atheist…no you know what forget that guy.

No offence but it amazes me how this still happens, over here in Europe this type of discrimination would be illegal by definition, no one would actually try to implement this policy.

It's not just about young earth views. If you look, the application requires you to sign AiG's statement of faith, which is loaded for bear with religious language up to and including acceptance of the christian god and a literal interpretation of the bible. It also asks that you give "salvation testimony," which I don't think I'm remiss in viewing as a statement of one's own christianity.

The Ark Park, which the position is advertised as being for, is a for profit business entity and thus falls under non-discrimination laws. The claim that the job opening is an in-house AiG position is directly contradicted by the title of the ad itself.

Except insofar as there is a "bona fide occupational qualification" - it's not entirely clear which way that would go in a lawsuit - leastwise, nor as clear as you or Statler appear to believe. The statement of faith indicates that only a particular type of Christian need apply, and it'll take a court to decide whether that's a BFOQ under Federal law, or whether it's just Ham's preference and its not really necessary to believe the bullshit one sells, provided one is willing to sell it sincerely.

As an American, I can only agree that some of us are.

...or shall we start stereotyping your country, as well?
