All I did was make a quip about him calling himself a 'grammar nazi' but not reading the rules. He then called me a 'rule nazi' and I responded in stern defense of this community. Then he got all upset and wanted to take his toys back and go home.

He could have legitimately defended himself, and if an apology was due, then I'd have willingly given him one, but alas, he didn't care to defend his reasons for being here - he just up and left. As I said, I'd have apologized if necessary, taking the high road. But this guy leaves in a huff, appearing to have won some moral battle - one that he actually may have won if he'd chosen to engage, but instead chose to forfeit.

Plus... This speech is fair play in this forum. He should have read the rules - then he'd have known to enter through the intro forum where such banter is prohibited.

Some are grammar nazis, some are forum rule nazis. The 30 posts and 30 days rule is applicable to all new members and should be enforced no matter who the new member is known to be, or pretends to be.

Being a subscriber, I am greatly disappointed at this, kinda hoping it's not really the GBB from youtube.
