Stupidest Anti Evolution Argument Ever.

RE: Stupidest Anti Evolution Argument Ever.
That's actually a pretty accurate claim. Not that we couldn't saddle it with extraneous claims....but what claim couldn't be run roughshod over......Confusedhrugs:.

If we weren't so fastidious about sterilizing jars of peanut butter, irradiating them -would- lead to "new life", hell, we wouldn't even have to irradiate them (it isn't like they aren't already being irradiated to begin with - sans our involvement)
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!

Yup, seen that one before.

It's even more hilarious than the banana being our worst enemy.

I fear that for every person that laughs, another will be convinced by the video due to a semi-professional voiceover, a man in a suit, and a complete lack of education.

Unfortunately I suspect the ratio is more likely to be 10-1.

I even encountered a YEC here in Kiwiland last week. I told him Ray would be so proud that his poison has taken root among the uneducated in his homeland.

No. No. No.

Nobody actually believes that stuff.

Through strength, I gain power.
Through power, I gain victory.
Through victory, my chains are broken."

Some people do, indeed, believe in "that stuff". That's the point where it ceases to be amusing, and becomes disturbing.

And in the US, more than a quarter of the population believes the bible is the "literal word of god", with all the attendant baggage implied.

Now, that is scary.

I think sometimes, people outside the US, don't realize the extent and pervasiveness of religious nuttery in this country.

Geez... what? The stupidity and desperation of these people is dumbfounding.

And for the last time, science haters: disproving evolution does not logically lead to your made-up explanations suddenly being true.

I mean... I despair at the levels being stooped to now. Anyone with more than one functioning brain cell can see through drivel like this. The scary thing is people being paid to fund stuff like "creationist research". What the hell is that anyway?

This kind of "argument" is the equivalent of just totally slandering your opponent in an election, rather than saying anything about your own policies, and hoping to win by default.

Stooped to now? Religion requires any and all of its followers to be stupid, and shameless by default, and thus they have always been like this.
