Something stastically significant (I've mentioned this before. Show me where believers -in whatever deity you want to use - have a longer life expectancy, are wealthier, have a lower rate of childhood cancer, have lower rates of blindness, paralysis, birth defects, etc... than non-believers)...
I’m not sure there’s even a study to address such issues. If there is, please point to it. For now, here are some things to consider:
Have you ever noticed that whenever there are big disasters in the world, they are usually happening in regions that either worship different gods from ours, or practice non-Abrahamic religions? Idolatry is one of the most offensive sins to God, if not the most, as evidenced by the constant warnings and admonitions mentioned in the Old Testament. The bible also cautions that entire nations will be punished for this sin.*
Keeping this in mind, here are some recent events:
2004 Tsunami killing 300,000 people, occurring mainly in Buddhist and Hindu regions.
2008 China earthquake: 68,000 dead.
2010 Haiti earthquake: 250,000 dead. This in contrast to the 2010 Chilean earthquake, which killed only 521. While Haitians consider themselves mainly Roman Catholic, the majority of Haitians practice Voodoo as a syncretic religion. http://www.travelinghaiti.com/haitian_voodoo.asp
2005 Hurricane Katrina killed 1,836 people in Louisiana, which has the largest Voodoo following in the United States. The greatest concentration of casualties occurred in New Orleans, which has the greatest concentration of Voodoo followers.
And so on and so forth…
Ever since I can remember, whenever there are huge world disasters, they are usually happening in idolatrous regions or nations. God punishes people and nations for different reasons, and Christians get punished as well. But it appears idolatrous nations get the worst of it.
I could’ve posted this on a separate thread as additional evidence God exists, but here it is anyway.
*I’m citing the bible not to proselytize, but to demonstrate how the scriptures can be corroborated in today’s world.
That's not evidence that god exists. It's evidence that North America has fewer large natural disasters than some other places in the world. It's not like bad things happen everywhere EXCEPT primarily Christian nations. Please learn to actually think. For your own good.

It is you who needs to learn to think, Paul. I did not once mention North America as the place with the least amount of disasters, not to mention I included New Orleans as one of the disaster points. Is this the best you can do to counter my argument?
Where do most Christians live, you moron? North America and Europe. Both of those planetary locales appear to have fewer large-scale natural disasters than some other planetary locales. The fact that most large-scale natural disasters occur in locales that are not primarily Christian is NOT evidence that god exists. Is this what you consider evidence?
*remembers back to other posts and other threads*
Oh yeah. This IS what you consider evidence. Well... as we've all tried to tell you before... you are wrong. It's not really your fault. You've been told lies by people that believe those lies to be true. If you begin thinking for yourself you will eventually learn how to tell the difference.

All of which explains why the greatest single epidemic in history, the Black Death of 1348-50, mainly affected christian Europe. Betwen 1/4 and 1/3 of the population is reckoned to have died.
It also explains why the Roman Empire was devastated by plague after it converted to christianity.
And what about the Great Lisbon Earthquake of 1755? Or the many earthquakes in Southern Italy and Sicily? I guess that they don't have anything to do with plate tectonics after all. Silly me for thinking that they did! It must be that god loves and protects christians except for the ones that live in certain regions (the Chileans and Mexicans are obviously in his bad books as well).
AngelThMan: You are a complete fucking idiot. You know nothing about science, or history, or what does and does not count as evidence.

9/11?
California earthquakes?
The oil spill? (This is the WHOLE of the Gulf, not just Louisiana).
Why are you lot still arguing with this one? I gave up on him ages ago.
Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence - Carl Sagan
Mankind's intelligence walks hand in hand with it's stupidity.
Being an atheist says nothing about your overall intelligence, it just means you don't believe in god. Atheists can be as bright as any scientist and as stupid as any creationist.
You never really know just how stupid someone is, until you've argued with them.
You win, AngelThMan. I give up. You are clearly too full of your own ignorance to listen to reason. Do us all a favor. Go live in your blindfolded world of make-believe and stop spilling your stupid all over the forums. There aren't many of us left that are willing to clean up after you.

You said North America, and didn't mention Europe in your post. Secondly, you're forgetting Australia, New Zealand, Israel, South Korea, certain parts of Africa, etc. Largely Christian regions with fewer disasters.
Paul the Monkey Wrote:[North America and Europe] appear to have fewer large-scale natural disasters than some other planetary locales.
You made my point for me, thanks.

Oh yeah. This IS what you consider evidence...
I once thought you might be smart, but now I know you're actually quite clueless. Anything that's observable is evidence, you dummy. If you find a candy wrapper on a coffee table, that's evidence of something, isn't it?
Anyway, you've again become disrespectful and unpleasant, and I won't be responding to you, so don't bother.
