Why do you think Satan is so bound on getting all those souls in Hell? Being a deceiver he is, he deceives God into thinking that he legitimately punishes people but in reality he develops weapons and trains an army to overthrow Heaven's tyranny. That's what going on. Why do you think he takes all those highly professional people (scientists, engineers, military personell e.t.c.) but lets incompetent ignorant fools go?

This in reality might be heaven for a masochist. But wouldn't
after awhile it would be the complete norm for a person oh
hey time to get burned alive again or well oh hey i'm getting
stabbed with a pitch fork again. While people in heaven
are the exact same opposite and its like oh hey its that 1
same harp song and it just keeps repeating. eventually
insanity would set in for people in heaven and in hell
if that is a routine schedule.

well its gods fault for giving Lucifer and the angles free will. Basically Lucifer upon getting free will notices that god and remembering all the evils that he has done wants to overthrow him. also if you go to hell and you had a pretty much carefree life and did no wrong but were an atheist or believed in the wrong god pretty much there is no need to get punished.
when you think about it people call the devil evil only because a book said so and there really isn't a story explaining really why he is evil only god stating he is bad and evil and talks shit about him.

Putting aside the mythological view, in reality Devil is there only because there has to be an antagonist, an ultimate scapegoat and a big bad boogeyman to scare the Flock with. It isn't really that big of a problem for the Clergy that after scrutinizing the text with reason the Devil doesn't appear so bad in comparison with Yahweh. That being so because one of the most strictly enforced messages of Abrahamic religions is the message of total conformity. Submit ot face severe consiquences. Religion is somewhat of a lazy ruler's tool. Adepts are usually too afraid to even think about viewing their sacred text from a sceptical point of view. In fact, BOTH God and Devil are there to communicate that simple message of conformity through fear.
