I played some Hearthstone. I like how the game welcomes you, and playing the game is pretty fun, but I suck at it and stopped playing.

Never played World of Tanks yet, but one thing I heard was that f2p players will get steamrolled by people who've thrown $$ at the game....

Any validity to that statement?

No false even tanks you pay money for are balanced. I'm a long time player and this game is really balanced though its match making and teams are the reason why people complain.

It many cases it is those ftp players that are paying more than the monthly subscriber. It is a pretty good scam.

Yes, a lot of times it's actually cheaper to just pay the monthly subscription if you are playing regularly. Like in LOTRO, you pay a bit a month and you get 500 TP per month to do what you want. Plus you don't have to pay for new regions, and you get a few other perks.

Wow, bunch of WoT players, I was hooked back in beta, spent so much money. When they released the Lowe that started the downhill slide for me. By the time I got done with then German Meds and leveled up to a T-54 I was like.."Man, fuck this game", that thing wrecked forever. Probably nerfed by now but I doubt they got any better at balance. It was an endless parade of FoTM tanks (probably to keep people on the treadmill..I get it, I just don't like it).
