What's everyone up to right now?

A sinus infection is doing its best to make me miserable. It's doing an admirable job.
Ah, and I'm also trying to decide what to watch tonight. I haven't even narrowed it down to either Crunchyroll or Netflix yet.
Busy work day. Unfortunate, because my mind is on the date I had last night. Unbelievably cute, smart, similar goals to mine, and a good kisser to boot. Let's hope this one doesn't turn out to be a sociopath!

If he doesn't find it cute you might have found a bad one. Playing Cluedo with my mum while I was at Uni: "You did WHAT? With WHO? WHERE???"
On call in an hour. I love volunteering, and I really don't want anyone to get sexually assaulted tonight (or ever), but it SUCKS having to just sit by the phone, only to have nothing happen.
In from a rainy San Diego day. Wanted to go to MLS Cup (LA Galaxy vs. New England Revolution), but that seems to be a losing proposition.

That's why I hate being on call. You can't drink or socialise with people for too long because you know you'll get the call. I usually end up crashing in the on call room at work. I'm singing along in my head, "I'm not okay... (i'm not okay!) The voices in my head are insane~ (voices in my head!)", bit of a choir, yeah?
Some people say things where they mean well, but all they're doing is making it worse. How many words have to be said... just so they will understand? None. It's not that they can't (can't they?): they won't. All telling them does is get them thinking on how to help... as if listening to the pains of the pained, and accepting them, was not itself the kindest thing that they could do. TLDR: I'm whinging. Please give me a home where cloud buffalo roam
Where the dear and the strangers can play
Where sometimes is heard a discouraging word
But the skies are not stormy all day

I'm just glad I only have to do it once a week or so. We don't have an on-call room at our tiny little forensic hospital. What does an on-call room have in it? |
