Very optimistic really. What would they think of me if I turned up on a Christian forum and wrote, "The bible is a load of shit! Become an atheist!" then disappeared?

I agree, but I wouldn't have managed to come up with such a beautiful reply on such short notice. My french is pretty rusty these days. I can read it just fine, but it's a long time since I actually needed to use it.

Challenging an argument is like disposing of a corpse. You hack and slash away at it, trying to open up the weak parts. You see if you can get the whole thing to fall apart in a gush of flesh and mangled organs. Then you can squash it nicely into a small container ready for transport.

If you find the corpse is just too tough, either because your tools aren't sharp enough or the flesh is too sturdy, then you let the corpse be. You admit defeat and just chuck it out of a window when no one is looking, admitting you couldn't do the job you intended to.

But when you open up the boot of your client's car, and they ask you to get rid of the body... What do you do when there isn't even a body in the trunk? How can you explain it politely?

Mine to, I actually made a spelling mistake, it's plein, not plain ... and the de is probably too much...

Kind of like the fine difference between "la vase" and "le vase". The first means garbage or better dreck, since it has the same meaning in english and german, the seond one is the actual vase. I made that mistake once, but only once.
