I was actually trying to count the regular theist members in my head, and was having trouble finding 12. I wasn't really including the ones that are under a month old or have just posted in the intro threads once or twice, or even those who might post once in a blue moon. We have GC, Drich, Lek, Heywood, AT, Wooters, the good professor and a few others. Maybe we do have well over dozen regulars, and I just don't pay attention.

He doesn't have any idea of the subject he's addressing, clearly. If you don't understand this, then I suggest you educate yourself first rather than ask a theist to educate you. Keeping some self respect is key I would think to having a serious debate.

Are you replying to the OP or someone else? What do you mean about self respect?

Why would a theist be on an atheist forum if they didn't want to debate?

Besides, it sounds like bible god likes debate between Christians and unbelievers.

I've never even had a debate that has got as far as someone defining what the fuck they are talking about. If they don't even know, how am I supposed to debate it?

Theists don't come to belief through proof of existence. They "believe in God". Not through any physical evidence. This is the basic mistake the title makes. The op seems to have started off by barking up completely the wrong tree.

When I said I've never had a debate, I meant a religious/spiritual one. I've had many sensible debates

I have however listened to hundreds of "debates" online, and on the atheist experience. Again, people either have no argument or cannot define their claim. The best they can do is irritate their opponent until they get sick of them.

Yeah that's one of my favourite completely unbiased sources of information too...
