you know at that speed that is pretty much a way to die... but lets say we had the technology though we could use it to get from point at to b there is stuff in the way so you would have to stop adjust and jump again. The smaller objects or junk pose a problem as the ship is going to look like swiss cheese. So the better option would be to bend space and time or aka warp drive. There is a math problem for a theoretical warp drive building it would be something else as we are humans and love tanks gun airplanes and warships.

I wonder if they were to use a FTL drive.. no one would be able to be piloting the ship because they would die....

Nothing escapes a black hole [and yes, I take issue with Hawking's disintegrating black hole theory].

If you ask some of his receivers, I'm pretty sure John Elway threw a few passes that were moving at about the speed of light.
"Well, evolution is a theory. It is also a fact. And facts and theories are different things, not rungs in a hierarchy of increasing certainty. Facts are the world's data. Theories are structures of ideas that explain and interpret facts. Facts don't go away when scientists debate rival theories to explain them. Einstein's theory of gravitation replaced Newton's in this century, but apples didn't suspend themselves in midair, pending the outcome. And humans evolved from ape- like ancestors whether they did so by Darwin's proposed mechanism or by some other yet to be discovered."

Because if anything just like driving a car that momentum pushes you back into your seat... so going the speed of light will surely kill you. A lot of scifi movies use suspended animation or some type of pod you get into and frozen so it won't effect you. But there could be away around it like inertia dampeners. But even going the speed of light it would still take quite awhile getting to places just a lot more faster than rockets.

No, no, and no.
Acceleration pushes you back in your seat. Velocity is not discernible.
Skepticism is not a position; it is an approach to claims.
Science is not a subject, but a method.
