That's like putting Dexter in charge of rehabilitation of offenders!

I think it's ok for religious people to be in positions of power, as long as they are ones who know it's all crap really :p

You know, like people pray but they still send their kid to the doctor. That sort of thing. They can be in charge.

Ted Cruz probably believes in none of the shit, that's why he is particularly dangerous. he can freely and calculatingly select anything from the entire menu of shit to further his career by kissing up to the basest and most marginal buffoons and retards.

Well, that's the final nail in NASA's coffin.

It's astounding that these anti-intellectual, scientifically ignorant twats can be put in positions overseeing scientific programs. I hate Cruz, but I think I almost hate the conservative dimwits who elected him even more.

NASA has been moribund since 1968.

Hey don't offend Dexter, he doesn't believe in that bullshit

Dexter would have a whole new outlet if he ran NASA. Maybe he already does, that's why we haven't been wiped out yet by naughty aliens.

I wouldn't go that far. Rover has been a resounding success, and the recent Orion launch was successful. Of course, long term goals aren't going to mean shit without any funding to make it happen. NASA has never been the problem; the problem is politicians who don't see the merit of funding the agency in light of the Republican battle cry of "fiscal responsibility", oft accompanied by a pulsating frontal vein and slightly bulging eyes.
