Yeah, I was trying to demonstrate ages ago that someone being pronounced "dead" always involves some level of judgement by the person making the announcement. (I'm not counting cases where someone is discovered having been rotting for months, or someone gets exploded into tiny pieces. I'm talking about calling it in cases where it's not ridiculously obvious to everyone.) I asked for an objective definition of "dead" and I got given "clinically dead", which now apparently means "measuring heart and brain function". I don't think I would call someone clinically dead because I measured their heart and brain function though :p As per my point, I have to make a decision. Are they dead, or not? And does dead mean "cannot come back to life"? If yes, people get it wrong. If no, there is no objective standard.
Erm... Yeah, I can't even remember why this was important. Something to do with NDE's and such.
This is my opinion, I should add. Feel free to enlighten me if I missed something.

being serious or otherwise doesn't make a difference. Hell is something people choose; no one alive has totally missed “hearing God’s call” and would prefer the unrighteous state it offers. God gives free will and people choose. The ‘torment’ is better translated to the word ‘restraint’. The more evil a person has demonstrated on earth, the more ‘restraint’ they have there. The restraint to inflict evil is the torment. God doesn’t withdraw His protection to his bodied spiritual creation in Hell, and God nature doesn’t allow for torment.

No, hell is in my garage. It's invisible, naturally, but it is run by death fairies and mice. Real mice. Not always the same ones though.

Heaven would be like spending a eternity in church you see out the windows everything looks great. You cannot leave to explore you are just there forced to worship god and all of his "glory". You would be stuck there nothing to do same old songs after same old songs for 24/7 hours. If you ask me hell is a better place to go.
