As an anti-theist I am still as logical as any atheist, just with more passion toward the dislike of religion than some or most atheists. It is quite appropriate and useful to dislike, even hate, religion for the simple reason that religion continues to cause strife and division in this world as it pretends to be the salvation of humanity with its falsehoods.

Why would think that anti-theists would not base their position on logic? Anti-theists are also atheists.

I reached my atheism by the correct application of skepticism applied to the god claim. I reached my anti-theism by paying attention to the global situation.

Anti-theism is God's gift to atheism.

I will go a step further with my anti-theism.

My position is that, even if any of the gods that appear in any religious texts and are believed in by humanity actually did exist, I'd still be in opposition to them.

There is not a single god that I know of that deserves worship.

There are instances when you can either cry out in pain or mock what you just heard to create some comic relieve. In my case it's mostly when someone presents themselves to be proudly and willfully ignorant of the world surrounding us and what science tought us about this world.

You bet, I bugger myself in bewilderment at the fact that what people think they are worshipping in xianity is a blatant, unashamedly evil being, even when writing about itself. I don't think I could write a more convincing evil character, nor can I think of any hideous act of venom he has not already done. It's all right there in their hands, but they still kiss his ass. The only logical explanations for that are fear or denial.

I doubt Allah is worse, but probably not much better. I've read less about him, but I am aware of some of the atrocities. Constant hell threats for everyone who doesn't worship him seems his thing.

He's evil all right, but if it were a character in a novel I'd criticise it for being too over the top to be believable.

Okay, about god being evil, way back when while I was exploring mythopoesis as an art form, I wrote a little story meant to be a creation myth for vegetarians and mixed-race folks.
