Avoiding indoctrination while still going to church with my Girlfriend?

Hey guys! I still want to go to church, but I just want to go so that I can spend time with my Girlfriend every weekend. I don't want to see her less just because I'm an atheist. We rarely get to date because I'm not exactly wealthy. So, the only way I can spend time with my girlfriend, at this time of year is by going to church with her. But I don't want to be re-indoctrinated into the church. Is there something I can do so I can still go with my girlfriend to church, but avoid being re-indoctrinated again? Thanks a bunch.

Yes, usually pretending not to listen works for me.
An introductory thread would be great, btw.
But I'm the kind of person who only went to church once in the last 3 years (not counting tourist visits)

I can't remember where this verse is from, I think it got removed from canon:

Honestly? Wouldn't worry about it. Indoctrination doesn't really work if you know it's happening.

Yeah, once you have seen through religion, there's no way you should get indoctrinated. Religion is utterly baseless in reality (I can give you plenty of resources about this if it would help). If you brought up a single logical question to anyone there, I can pretty much guarantee you'll get either a deceitful canned answer people have been spoon fed, or just some made up nonsense. To any reasonably sceptical person, it won't wash.
It works so well on the young because their brains haven't finished developing critical thinking skills. Which is why it is mind rape, in my opinion. It's appalling.
Does your girlfriend know you're an atheist?
