I have to say those are my sentiments a lot of the time as well.

lol. Atheism does a great job refuting fundamentalism, unfortunately thats all it is good for.

(Note: Most Christians do believe in evolution)

That makes no sense. Fundamentalism can also be refuted by moderate theists. Atheism is just not believing in gods.

Yes moderate theists can, however, most atheists spend most of their time attacking fundamentalism (And doing a dam good job).
Well, in my opinion atheists attack fundamentalist ideas.

Atheists do not believe that god(s) exist. That is all. It doesn't matter what denomination, sect, or overall religion the theist is... it doesn't matter if the theist is moderate or fundamentalist or evangelical. It is the claim that there is a god at all that atheists dispute, not which version.
