Okay, I'm all caught up now.



I'm glad that there was a lot of Sansa this week.  I feel like we usually only get little snippets of her story and don't spend a good long time with her so this week I was happy that a bunch of it took place in Winterfell.

I thought there would be a moment in this episode where Theon confesses to Sansa that Bran and Rickon are still alive.  Once that happens Sansa+Theon=4ever is back on track!!  Other than that, though, I don't see much hope in Sansa and Theon rekindling any kind of positive feelings, at least on Sansa's part.  She definitely holds a grudge and unless Theon really does something incredible to redeem himself he's on her shit list forever.

It did look in the preview for next week like something was going to happen with Sansa and Theon, though...  But who knows, previews are misleading...  It did look like Lady Olenna is back next week though!  YAY!!!!

And yeah... Miranda's hip bones could cut glass... that was both impressive and scary.  I totally didn't notice what she had going on up top, but I did notice Ramsay's nice ass.

I'm mildly interested in Jon's story again, but only mildly.  Mostly I just look forward to Sam and Gilly when we're up at Castle Black.

Didn't think for a second that they would actually kill Tyrion, which is incredibly stupid seeing all the other great characters GRRM has killed off.  But Tyrion hasn't met Dany yet, and something's gotta happen there...  Hated that Dany decided she needed to marry Hizdahr; I'd rather her marry Crapio Naharis if she has to marry someone but that's not going to happen.

For real, Dany!!  That can't be good for them!  Drogon is having a merry ol' time flying all over the place and (probably) reeking havoc on the countryside, but that's what dragons do!  She's punishing them for following their instincts and hunting!

I also finally got to see episode 5. Great episode!

My poor husband can't keep track of some of the stories at all though. He forgot who Theon even was to begin with, though he remembers him being tortured. He told me, if I wasn't so into it he wouldn't bother watching it unless he was in the mood for a little softcore porn.

It makes me wonder how much I would love the show if I hadn't read the books. Would I have the same issue? I tried to explain to him who Lyanna was and how her kidnapping caused the rebellion that lead to the overthrow of the mad king, what Danaery's relationship to him was, why Dorn is involved and so forth, and he just got frustrated and said he doesn't really care, too much politics in a TV show for him.

Ah well, I still enjoy it all.

And honestly, it'd suck for Theon more than for Sansa - she's still got her bits It's Theon that would be the one missing out.
