My thread is a bit more serious than most but I'll try to throw in some humor. 
Would you support a men's right group fighting for support for more male specific issues such as divorce laws or male birth control?

A vasectomy has been available for a long time. It is cheap in the long run, and extremely reliable.

As for the other things, it should be obvious that it is a bigger deal to cut into someone's abdomen that to cut into someone's scrotum. A vasectomy is bandaid surgery, done on an outpatient basis. It is cheap, easy, and very safe.
The reason many men object is because many men are just sissies. Man up, and get a vasectomy, if you don't want to father any children.

And you totally missed my point. My point is that a man shouldnt have to get a vasectomy for birth control just as a woman shouldn't have to have her tubes tied. Good to know that you support gender equality though.

Do you consider yourself an egalitarian and do you agree that the term "egalitarian" is a far better word to use than "feminist", given that it both removes the obvious female-only word stem (female -> feminine -> feminist) and broadens the scope of equality to more than just gender / sex based discrimination?
