This chap just wants to get out of the army discuss

RE: This chap just wants to get out of the army discuss
Sorry about going OT.

From Wikipedia:

Quote:Metaphysical naturalism, or ontological naturalism, is a world view and belief system that holds that there is nothing but natural things, forces, and causes of the kind studied by the natural sciences, i.e. those required to understand our physical environment and having mechanical properties amenable to mathematical modeling. Metaphysical naturalism holds that all concepts related to consciousness or to the mind refer to entities which are reducible to or supervene on natural things, forces and causes. More specifically, it rejects the objective existence of any supernatural thing, force or cause, such as occur in humanity’s various religions, as well as any form of teleology. It sees all "supernatural" things as explainable in purely natural terms. It is not merely a view about what science currently studies, but also about what science might discover in the future. Metaphysical naturalism is a monistic and not a dualistic view of reality.

Christianity: The belief that a cosmic Jewish Zombie who was his own father can make you live forever if you symbolically eat his flesh and telepathically tell him you accept him as your master, so he can remove an evil force from your soul that is present in humanity because a rib-woman was convinced by a talking snake to eat from a magical tree...

A contractually obligated soldier has no legal right to just leave because he is having issues with his faith. Personally, I think he's just a pussy that was afraid to go to Afghanistan. If he is truly a conscientious objector, they will give him that status, but, again, that gives him no right to bail on his contract.

Game the system? What crust! He signed the contract. Gaming the system only makes him more of a pussy. News flash: If you don't want to go to war, don't join the Army while your country is in the midst of one.

A dishonorable discharge will fuck up his life.

I'm rooting for him. If he wants to get out I want him to get out and my best wishes, good will, and agreement are with him.

Yea.. When I Joined the Army I had 1 oppertunity to leave.. after week 1 the drill seargent asked " If any of you sniveling bitches dont want to be here and want to go to the house come to my office." after that your pretty much stuck... the government dont like to spend tens of thousands for your training just so you can quit... There are ways to get chaptered out but its not easy.... Once you are in you have no rights (well less rights). One off hand I can think of is freedom of speech.....You dont like the Presedent? well you better keep it to yourself....
Did I make a good point? thumbs up Smile I cant help it I'm a Kudos whore. P.S. Jesus is a MYTH.

You have the right to feel that way. As for myself, I don't want him sent overseas, but that's only because his pink panties are going to get his "buddies" killed. It's best that people who are going to spend all their time whining about how the war they signed up to fight in is interfering with their god time stay away from guns and real soldiers. I do think that he should man up to his contract and stay in to answer phones or clean barracks. Aside from that, he is now useless. Thanks for wasting my tax money, prick.

By the way, weren't your beliefs Muslim like last week?

I believe 99.9% of what I believed last week. The information in my religious views section was different last week.

So it did change? Sweet, I'm not going crazy. Just out of curiosity, what were your beliefs last week?
