Adjunct: It’s more than happenstance earth’s astronomers can view and detect the universe’s complete 13 billion year history sights and properties extending all-the-way back to the CMB (within 200,000 years of the BBY). The earth’s location is in a very dark place within the Milky Way galaxy; whereas, most locations are in blinding light which would make astronomy nearly impossible without the dark sky background.

The creation as stated in the bible is wholly metaphorical. At those times if you can even call them times everything would have been so drastically different than it is now that there is no exact explanation either through science or what the profits wrote they are both best guesses. I'm guessing the profits somehow knew that a little rest is a good thing so they incorporated it in there understanding of what the lord showed them.

The beginning of this galaxy sand everything in it. It was there best answer. There are very few things that old texts do not describe very well and that perhaps the Lord Never explained to any because it in not our place to know. Not for any reason but our own good. You must admit that some knowledge in the hands of man is very damning. The ability to split an atom for example. If we were pure all knowledge would be beneficial to all. We are all but pure.
