So you when to hell now what.

If you step back and look at it objectively, then you have to discard almost all the bible, so that doesn't work either.

Sure. That's true with everything, isn't it? Everyone thinks that Paul Revere rode his horse through town shouting "The Redcoats Are Coming!" It doesn't matter if he didn't. George Washington, a politician who cheated on his wife never told a lie. It must be true because he chopped down a cherry tree. And he was the first president of the United States. But he wasn't. And income taxes are constitutional. They pay for schools and roads. We kill people in order to protect our own freedom, which slips through the fingers of tycoons' like oil or the last dollar of the middle class in the pocket of the fractional reserve bankers. Our next leader will be the voice of real change in a long line of tradition. Science is all good, they brought us everything good, like thermonuclear and chemical warfare and cell phones we can play games on.

If the Bible is bullshit then I wan't to know about it. Forget about the Bible because most religious people got it wrong anyway? Everybody has gotten everything wrong but lets not embrace pure ignorance nevertheless.

The Bible is bullshit though. I have trouble grasping and fathoming how mentally healthy people can even believe otherwise.

Wait, if the bible is bullshit you want to know about it?

Yes, it's bullshit. All of religion is bullshit. It's all based on unfalsifiable claims. It has no rational justification. The oral myths are bullshit, the sacred books are bullshit.

They may contain some things that are true, but we only know this because we can verify them somehow. They may contain some pearls of wisdom. But the supernatural claims they make cannot possibly be rationally supported. Or if they can, I've never heard it done. The giveaway is that every religion makes more or less the same arguments as to why their religion is true, yet they contradict each other.

Still, that's pretty pathetic, having people wander thru this life and can't come with one reason for the universe's existence.

Do you really think that everything in the universe came into existence at the same time?

I could probably come up with a dozen reasons for the Universe's existence, right off the top of my head. Then what?
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist.  This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair.  Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second.  That means there's a situation vacant.'

Millenniums before big bang cosmology, scripture stated that the universe had a beginning. Even Einstein put a fudge factor in his relativity mathematics to adhere to the steady-state no beginning model, and later acknowledge it was a mistake due to his philosophical worldview.  This is not just and isolated case, science discoveries are validating scripture and that will be continued into the future.
Atheist Credo: A universe by chance that also just happened to admit the observer by chance.

Science will seem to keep validating scripture so long as you insist on viewing the world through scripture validating lenses.

It's about following the data wherever it might lead - Historical sciences such as astronomy, paleontology, geology oftentimes make inferences to the best explanation of the observed data. For instance cosmology states this: "one second after the Big Bang the mass density of the universe must have been equal, to an accuracy of 15 decimal places, to the critical density where it counterbalanced the expansion rate to produce a flat universe" * - which means if there were any less mass, gravity wouldn’t coalesce the primordial elements to form stars and planets; and if just a smidgen more mass, gravitational collapse would result in a stellar remnant, aka, neutron star.
Based on the precision of this cosmological event, it’s a better inference to concluded that this was ’planned’ rather than unplanned. No need to get all nervous about now, even atheist astrophysicist can believe in creation - http://www.worldscientific.com/worldscib....1142/0602

And even Lawrence Krauss (who knew?) acknowledges that when logic is used, creation is viable. https://books.google.com/books?id=gnthuP...re&f=false

That's not following the data; that's leading it.

The universe is still being created.  It's completely different now than it was a billion years ago.  And it will be different in the future.  That's one reason why the Big Bang Theory is BS.
