I was curious to see how the theists on these boards try to explain themselves to non-believers and in doing so I encountered a considerable number of "catholic" posters. I describe them with a small c because we do not consider those who follow the post-conciliar heretical council of Vatican II to be following the true unchanging church that the Lord himself founded and have descended into Protestant heresy.

I joined so that I may have a chance to question them and to address the many lies that have been shared concerning the true practice of the one holy and apostolic Catholic Church.

Suscipe Domine - the home of stark delusion, unmitigated bias, and disgusting bigotry.  This should be fun.
Skepticism is not a position; it is an approach to claims.

Well, the first sentence still stands.

I love it when Catholics fight.  Someone invariably gets kicked right in the rosaries.

You think we're going to have a cateschism?

He doesn't. But he desires them as a demonstration of our love of him and obedience to his will.

No theists are biting today but I do have a question. There are probably hundreds of denominations of protestant faiths. As you may remember these all sprang from One monk wanting to guide the catholic church away from greed and falsehood according to what he believed the bible to teach. As i recall the church was bilking europe for every last copper in the form of....paying in coin for ones sins durring confesion. It took hold because many of the ruling aristocracy recognized this and used him to oust catholic rule.
Okay so now today there are lots of interpretations of the bible in the form of denominations all claiming to be the right ones. I had thought that the one saving grace of the catholic church was that there were no permenent splits in ideology because all catholics went with what ever the pope at the time said. Is this not the case?

I think will be very entertaining ... fallacies will be flying left, right and centre. Except neither will be aware of it.
To them it will be a 2 way robust discussion.
