No, people who are religious don't necessarily believe in one god, but people who believe in one god are religious. Let's look at it from another angle: people with only one leg wear one sock; does the wearing of one sock mean the person only has one leg?
Apologies to any unidexters out there.
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist. This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair. Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second. That means there's a situation vacant.'
People with one leg could wear 2 socks on that side.
No true Scotsman . . . . The granting of a pardon is an imputation of guilt, and the acceptance a confession of it.
Double bagging?

I like to look at it like this: People who believe in religious gods are religious. - Much more simple and eliminates so many confusions. I wouldn't say that i'm religious as the god i currently believe in isn't assosiated with any religion. But in the near future the god i believe in is assosiated with a religion or someone else provides me with proof of the existence of such a religion then yes,i'd be religious. But until then i wouldn't classify myself as a religious person. (July 4, 2015 at 10:42 am)whateverist Wrote:(July 4, 2015 at 5:36 am)pool Wrote: *I'm called pfool. Is it because you think i'm no longer a fool or is it because you felt bad about insulting me and wanted to generally make me feel good about myself? I actually don't mind being called a fool.Unlike others i get my motivation when people look down on me not when people think i'm awesome which usually makes me lazy.
Pool, I think people are just annoyed with semantics games. It's something we deal with a lot around here, and it just gets old. Why don't you jump in on another conversation? It might make things more satisfying for you...
