No this is just humor at your expense. When people say exasperatingly stupid things which strike me as pompous I tend to become insulting. So far as I know there is no reason for you to be banned, and I'll defend your right to be as pfoolish as you wanna be. I hope you will also defend my right to express myself.

I am not threatened by freedom of speech. What I won't put up with, however, is when someone continually makes baseless and unfounded accusations towards me, which after repeated requests to provide such proof of anything that I have said specifically against another in the form of threats, is ignored.

If it was benificial to either of us I would slowly go through and find what I am referencing. However I would simply prefer to let it go. It would be cool if you did the same. Honestly doesn't look like you will though, for whatever reason. Why drag one another through the mud when we can benifet from one another? I'm not talking specifically about the two of us, but in general.

Ahh and there's the excuse... once again.. you don't want to have to back up what you say. You seem to do that a lot. I've noticed that. But hey, I'm not the one who brought it back up, but in typical narcissistic fashion, you somehow have managed to blameshift that onto me. Funny. Because the proof that you brought it back up is a few posts up. Nice try though. You amuse me.

It would be beneficial to you because it would strengthen your argument. You want to come on here and make claims, then try to act like it's too much work to actually use valid information to formulate arguments to defend what you say. If you feel like you're getting dragged through the mud, that's happening because people are becoming exasperated with your sensationalist, childish, emotion-charged, jargon-laced non-arguments that you flounder around with when asked to back yourself up with sources. You're like the Deepak Chopra of wishy-washy, half-informed bullshit.
Verbatim from the mouth of Jesus (retranslated from a retranslation of a copy of a copy):
"Do not judge, or you too will be judged. For in the same way you judge others, you too will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you. How can you see your brother's head up his ass when your own vision is darkened by your head being even further up your ass? How can you say to your brother, 'Get your head out of your ass,' when all the time your head is up your own ass? You hypocrite! First take your head out of your own ass, and then you will see clearly who has his head up his ass and who doesn't." Matthew 7:1-5 (also Luke 6: 41-42)

there is no proof that stands up to inquiry. So why then does the idea of religion persist? The answer is fear and to a lesser extent lazyness.
We are blessed(cursed) with sentience. We can live life like other beasts (eating, drinking, mating) for only so long before everyone that lives long enough asks...why? Why are we here? How did all this come about? What happens after death. All of this is conveniently explained by religion and so comfort is attained.
All of this would be well enough but someone somewhere got the idea that they could use this fear to control people's lives. It worked for most but not all.
Carry on atheist. Know that you are the bravest of us all.

Carry on atheist. Know that you are the bravest of us all. Where is laziness in proclaiming good acts and knowledge of Universal good?
Where is gravity in numbers. I stand alone and with all at once. My efforts are the opposite of lazy in that I am physically drained afterwards. Indeed, what I do is work for good.

One doesn't need religion to proclaim good acts. One doesn't need religion to DO good either. Religion, really, has nothing to do with that. If your moral compass is pointed in the right direction, religion won't matter.
