"Shit" might have been different from now to then, but the "shit" the Israelites were doing was no different than what everyone else was doing. You'd think a society that was was run by the singular omnipotent, omniscient god would have done things that would have indicated it was. Yahweh however wasn't doing anything different, so he really wasn't any better than all the other gods that were being worshiped around that area.

I didn't say it was there dream. Women weren't left alone back then. There husbands were dead. They would have had a worse fate if the men wouldn't have taken them along.

Again even with that said we don't know for sure which parts of the Bible were tampered with. So any of that could be imbelishment. You can't take something literally when that's obviously not how it was intended. You can't take it any kind if way if you can't attempt to comprehend without some misplaced finger pointing.

You are still pretending that rape and murder are good.  But if you are going to say that the Bible has been tampered with, why don't you just condemn the story as we presently have it?  Why are you unwilling to say that it was wrong for them to murder and rape, if they did what the Bible says they did?  And if the Bible has been tampered with, bastardized, why not just throw it out and stop pretending that it is special?  If it has been tampered with, it is leading you astray, so you should just throw it away and not follow it at all.

You avoid my counterpoints by restating the same shit. Please change your questioning to at least reflect my answers. I didn't say any of it was good. It was a means to an end. If it wasn't done that way then we would have already failed instead of being on the verge. And just because some selfish, or missmotivated individuals had there hand in the Bible which is inevitable due to man's opportunity doesn't mean all the books don't contain much truth and proper guidance. Like I said ancient times where different. If these things wouldn't have happened the way they did then the world now would be worse for it. It's that simple.

No no go in the bible and look for a part where it says rape and killing is wrong please do go.

It says in all the texts that imorral killing is wrong and that killing any innocent is wrong. It also says that doing wrong to others in general is wrong. Thought most of you claimed to have read the New Testament. I haven't even read it by I know one ducking thing, it's message is of forgiveness and rightiousness. Unfortunately, right doesn't always mean happy and gay. Shit will inevitably hit the fan sometimes. Rightious motivations and actions during these times of stress, and anarchy are what the Bible and other books attempt to teach, among other valuable lessons.
