You were buying them at the wrong places. This place has CCI gold dots and Federal HST for about $0.60 a round for a 50 count. They didn't hit a dollar even in the fallout of Sandy Hook. 22 has gone through the roof, but I can still buy SK standard plus which is my 22 of choice for 12 or 13 cents a round.

Perhaps. While I support guns and gun ownership, I can accept logical limits. The NRA is borderline extremist in their views. They seem to have an all or nothing sort of mentality.

I want people to agree with me that guns are ok to have and to use. I feel that the NRA pushes away a lot of people who would otherwise be supporters.
NRA - "If I don't have this belt fed water cooled .50 browning bmg capable of leveling a city block in under 10 minutes, the terrorists win"
ME - 'but you're an accountant living in the suburbs...'
Now if that was a highly customized wilson combat 1911...
