Sorry, that's just plain stupid. He was in the Hitler Youth, which was mandatory, given his date of birth. There's everything to not like about him, starting with his career and ending with his term as pope, but that's just ludicrous and baseless.
Fuck him. He was in the luftwaffe, too. Do you give him a pass for moving pervert priests around Munich too?
These catholic cocksuckers deserve every bit of scorn they can have heaped on them. Otherwise...you end up with a dumb shithead like Randy.

Yeah, min, I hate to say this, especially to you, since I usually appreciate your posts, but educate yourself on what people being born in 1927 had to do if they didn't outright desert and risked being shot or hanged. He was a so called "Luftwaffenhelfer", which was again mandatory and not a choice.
Once again, loathe him for what he did as a catholic leader and I'm on your side. But I'm certainly not supporting unbased and uninformed bullshit.

I don't think that Min would hold him to a higher standard, if he hadn't claimed it for himself when he donned the silly hat. Perhaps being in the hitler youth and the luftwaffe doesn't make a person an asshole (I don't think that it does), and perhaps being a person who shuffled pedo priests doesn't either (again, I can imagine the rare scenario)....but being -the pope- who did these things....well, that's another story. If the church weren't -already- debased, then elevating that guy would have done the trick all by itself, and that's -before- we start to consider his individual remarks and positions..........-as- the pontiff. Throwing -that- in the pile is akin to setting fire to a church...........meh.

Yeah, two different things. One being his role as bishop, cardinal and pope and the second his adolescence when he didn't have a choice. To blame him for his youth and not having the guts to desert is just plain stupid. To blame him for his role as leading member of the clergy is justified.

Sweet. What about all those believers who require some healing and changes? You know, like starving children, or kids born with epidermolysis bullosa, or victims of abuse, or basically anything in need of just a bit of godly TLC.
Don't worry, I'll wait.

Nope. The fucker can't seem to handle anything that can be verified.
I wonder why that is?

God can do anything that can also be explained through natural causes, and nothing that can't.

Huh? Are you sure you're Jewish?
The first sacrifice offered for sin was in the book of Genesis, from your own Torah....
So no, Christianity didn't invent anything, it just points to Jesus Christ as the ultimate sacrifice for sin.
