Huh? Are you sure you're Jewish?

The first sacrifice offered for sin was in the book of Genesis, from your own Torah....

So no, Christianity didn't invent anything, it just points to Jesus Christ as the ultimate TEMPORARY sacrifice for sin.

There, fixed that.  It caught my eye.  3 days (barely 2 actually, big whoop!)
The granting of a pardon is an imputation of guilt, and the acceptance a confession of it.

Dude could come back from the dead, and he only sacrificed himself once?!? I know regular humans, who operate under the normal laws of nature, that have done that.
I can't remember where this verse is from, I think it got removed from canon:

"I don't hang around with mostly men because I'm gay. It's because men are better than women. Better trained, better equipped...better. Just better! I'm not gay."

For context, this is the previous verse:

Yeah, but could "they" turn water into wine?

apparently this part is not to be taken literally also.

Damn, the way they're going with metaphors and the like, it's like Jesus didn't do anything miraculous these days...
Just normal stuff that a "real" person can do!

I think I see what they're trying to do there!

Christianity and Islam are both offensive. Christianity teaches there is something wrong with me, something I need to seek redemption for, just for being born a human. And it usually teaches that because I don't believe in it (which is not even a choice I can make) I will miss out on amazing stuff, and even be punished.

Islam teaches I'm going to be burned in hell for simply not submitting to an undemonstrated being.

These are both highly offensive, and I could take issue with anyone who is part of either religion. But luckily I don't take any of it the slightest bit seriously, and I know people have simply been brainwashed by propaganda.

There is however nothing I could ever do or say to any religious theist that could come close to how offensive those views actually are.

It's kind of ironic, I just realized... Religious people want their beliefs to be taken seriously. But if I did take them seriously, then I'd be extremely offended by them, and would have to consider what it says about them as a person that they would hold such beliefs.

Then, by your own logic, you are a lapsed Protestant who should quit reading the catholic heresy and stick to the scripture. Tsk, tsk, Randy.

All Christians are lapsed atheists.

I'm afraid you will have to explain to me how your post relates to my original before I'll be able to comment.
The gods did not reveal, from the beginning,
All things to us, but in the course of time
Through seeking we may learn and know things better.

These things are, we conjecture, like the truth.

But as for certain truth, no man has known it,
Nor shall he know it, neither of the gods
Nor yet of all the things of which I speak.
And even if by chance he were to utter
The final truth, he would himself not know it:
For all is but a woven web of guesses.

You know, I came to a similar conclusion myself, long while back.   You might want to take them seriously, though...they certainly take themselves seriously, and get into some pretty serious shit on that count.
