They did look pretty peaceful. A lot more peaceful than me.
I pressed one for an answer and got a bit rough, but still nothing. Apparently he would rather I rip his arm out of its socket than confirm the afterlife.

You know why cats do that? They're teaching you how to hunt. They see you don't stalk an animal so they assume you don't know how. The proper response that they're expecting when they bring you a dead mouse, bird, elk or whatever is for you to eat it.
