That's a very good question. So, how 'bout it Lek? How many little unwanteds have you and the missus adopted?!?

What gives you the right to make reproductive choices for another human?

If liberty is a major concern in America (I'm assuming here), then why do you presume to take that away from women everywhere?

In our society I don't have a right to take away that choice.  Fetuses are not afforded the same rights as people who are already born are.  My purpose is to persuade others of the immorality of the practice in the hope that they will make the right choice.

In plain words, to slut sham them into doing what you think is the moral thing, their beliefs and circumstances be damned.

So your point is "don't take a moral position on anything someone does unless you're willing to take care of the consequences of that person's actions?"

I believe the correct phrasing to make the analogy correct would be "don't take a moral position on anything someone does because you forced them to unless you're willing to take care of the consequences of your moral stand."

Remember, there are no consequences unless you decide that having the baby is what a woman must do.
"There remain four irreducible objections to religious faith: that it wholly misrepresents the origins of man and the cosmos, that because of this original error it manages to combine the maximum servility with the maximum of solipsism, that it is both the result and the cause of dangerous sexual repression, and that it is ultimately grounded on wish-thinking." ~Christopher Hitchens, god is not Great

There are plenty of consequences to society when we decide that a person's job is more important than the life of a human being.

I knew you'd latch on to the last part without addressing the actual meat of the post.

What consequences are there when a woman aborts a <13 week old fetus?

Is your job more important than a my hypothetical brain tumor? If one of us got to keep one and one had to lose, would you keep your job or have me keep my brain tumor? A brain tumor is made up of human DNA right? But it cannot survive outside of my body...not a person but it is living....hmm

She has stopped a beating heart that has already been beating for 5-7 weeks and terminated a human life.

Wait, I thought you couldn't know that it was a human life? How did you acquire that ability in the last day?

Also, you named an outcome. What are the consequences?
