So your point is "don't take a moral position on anything someone does unless you're willing to take care of the consequences of that person's actions?"

Nope. My stance is "Don't try to force your morality on someone else unless you are ready to face the consequences of your actions."

If you're not willing to take one of those unwanted children, you are in no position whatsoever to insist that anyone birth one.

Remember, there are no consequences unless you decide that having the baby is what a woman must do.

There are plenty of consequences to society when we decide that a person's job is more important than the life of a human being.

Prove it!

What consequences are there when a woman aborts a <13 week old fetus?

She has stopped a beating heart that has already been beating for 5-7 weeks and terminated a human life.

That's not a consequence to society per your claim.

I'm not well informed. So please tell me why is the christian thought that abortion is terrible.

If it's' one of the commandments? Then my issue with that is that there is an absolutly huge lists of Christians killing others to further their faith's influence. Including the killing of children.

http://www.truthbeknown.com/victims.htm

If it's because of the drive to protect children? I could understand except..... isn't there a chapter in the bible how god killed an entire nation or ordered his people to kill said nation down to the last man woman and child? I'm pretty sure that some of those women were prego....then there is what is happening today
http://ffrf.org/legacy/books/bas/bas5.php

then and now

http://myth-one.com/memorial.htm

wow did you see that list? I'm very offended now at the hypocracy of the pro-lifers.

Is it because god said "go forth and multiply."? we've got that covered and then some

http://www.worldometers.info/world-population/

Now we have a population problem

http://www.howmany.org/big_picture.php

Now please inform me of the real issue of why abortion is such a problem.... oh I think I know...(oooh!oooh! pick me)
It's one more thing that the religious can use to control our lives which, from what I've seen form history, is the real goal of all religious authority and you my faith harboring friends are playing your part in helping them.

Wow! maybe I shouldn't post when I've been drinking.

Being anti-abortion is nothing to do with the bible. The bible not only describes abortions being carried out with god's endorsement but also people killing actual babies and pregnant women along with everyone else who happens to be in the area.

God is fine with all of this, as per his own book. To argue otherwise is to say either-

1- God used to be immoral but now he has learnt to be moral
2- The bible is not an accurate depiction of Yahweh
3- It's fine to ignore sections of the bible when they are inconvenient
4- Morality doesn't come from God or the bible, and people are making their own decision that abortion is bad

I'm sure people can come up with their own excuses too.

Wait, I thought you couldn't know that it was a human life? How did you acquire that ability in the last day?

Also, you named an outcome. What are the consequences?

I knew you'd latch on to the last part without addressing the actual meat of the post.

Click on the reatured video at the site below. This illustrates very well what you're aborting at 13 weeks. Maybe there are few consequences for the parents, but the consequences are to the baby that is aborted; killed by the mother who conceived and would have nursed him or her. Since the child can feel, it must hurt. It makes want to barf thinking about it. Makes me even sicker when I see the videos of Planned Parenthood people acting so nonchalantly about being more careful during the procedure so they can end up with more complete body parts to sell.

Christers hands are (or should be) tied by Genesis 2:7.

Human life and ensoulment occurs with the first breath. God said it, the Bible records it, they should accept it and STFU.
The granting of a pardon is an imputation of guilt, and the acceptance a confession of it.

The language you use is being spoon fed to you. Do you know that? Killed. A thing must be alive to be killed. A fetus at 13 weeks is no more alive than a tumor, as it cannot survive without its host.

I said it in the other thread, there is absolutely no evidence that PP sells "baby parts." They receive payment for the transport and care of donated fetal tissue, maternal blood, stem cell lines, and fetal cell lines. When a woman requests that her fetal tissue be donated, of course obstetricians take care so that they can preserve the tissue that is in most demand by researchers who are working so that other, wanted babies and adults can benefit from advanced medical procedures.

Fetal and infant retinal cell lines are being experimented on right now in research that has been used to help babies born with a congenital eye defect have a chance at vision. That can only happen if doctors take care when harvesting the tissue from a fetus that was going to be aborted anyways.

Come on, Lek, even you can see the sense in that.

If you thought you were sneaky by shifting the goalpost, you weren't. I sense that I am never going to get an answer as to what the consequences are when a woman has complete control over her reproductive health. We get it, Lek, you are disgusted by abortions. For you and maybe your spouse, that option is off the table. That's perfectly reasonable. But you have still not explained a reason that should make it okay for another person to not have that decision be an option.
"There remain four irreducible objections to religious faith: that it wholly misrepresents the origins of man and the cosmos, that because of this original error it manages to combine the maximum servility with the maximum of solipsism, that it is both the result and the cause of dangerous sexual repression, and that it is ultimately grounded on wish-thinking." ~Christopher Hitchens, god is not Great

Quit moving the fucking goal posts. Where are the consequences to society as you initially claimed?!?
