Yeah, there is no series in the works for the Duggars. That was just clickbait that RawStory used.
Either way, I hope the two Duggar sisters weren't pressured to do this by their parents.

This is what happens when you grow up in a sexually repressed home. I'm not sure that josh is a pedophile by sexual orientation, as the girls weren't far off from him in age and he was at that age where most boys discover their dicks (and sears catalogues). What is the failure here is that most boys have some guidance in these years through friends and family. However the duggars created a family situation that is highly controlling and pretends human sexuality is evil.
You build that situation and then pump out 19 babies like your bag is a fucking cannon and this is bound to happen. I think we may see a lot more cone out about the duggars in the coming years especially as the younger duggars come of age. I mean wtf is going to happen when these kids apply for post secondary education? Will their home school shit even be enough to get them into a modern community college? If not what will happen when they do go to a post secondary school to get their basic high school academics? What if one of them (especially one of the girls) decides to go to university? So many ways in which the whole reality they grew up in can fall apart. I personally think that the duggars will be like the Catholic scandal of fundamentalist Christianity.

Those children aren't going to be allowed to go to secular colleges. Not a chance. Liberty University for all! Also, all of the girls will be ushered into marriage and pregnancy with no chance at a life outside that bubble.
Statistically, it is almost a certainty that at least one or two of those children will be gay. That will be the real "scandal." Likely after they're married with kids. Jim Bob and Michelle will be ruining lives for generations!

Exactly. None of the girls will be encouraged to pursue higher education, they've been taught that the woman's place is in the home as a wife and mother. It's a full-on quiverfull movement type mentality.
It is a good question about whether their home schooling is sufficient to get the boys into even a Christian university. I don't know about home schooling regulations at all, let alone the super-fundy home schooling the Duggars would have done.

There has already been speculation that one of the girls is gay. Of course, it's all based on circumstantial evidence and a lot of assumptions so I wouldn't read too much into it.

If you read the police report, one of his victims was his five year old sister so not all his victims was close to his age. He molested her when she fell asleep on his lap. Also, don't listen to the Duggars when they try to rewrite history on this issue. They have said several times that the touching occurred under their clothes but in the police report, one sister said he tried to go up her skirt while she was doing laundry.
The Duggars follow a man named Bill Gothard, who himself has been accused of improper behavior with young women. Gothardites believe that young people should remain home until marriage so it is unlikely that the majority of the Duggar children will receive any higher education. The one job that Bill Gothard approves for women is that of being a midwife and, I think, one of the girls received some sort of training.

I know full well what the police report and the others said. Five is a bit young, but my point still stands. I feel that Josh isn't necessarily a product of pedophilia but rather the environment that he is in. He however still needs remediation, but even more so the girls he molested need proper treatment. As for post secondary education the girls will probably never see it, which is sickening. However the boys may not have a choice, especially since in this fucking twisted cult they have to be the primary "caretakers" and even if their homeschooled diploma is worth a regular one they will likely end up at a trade of sort. This will force them to interact with people outside the cult as necessity. Either way I think they have utterly failed their children and are pigs to be held in mockery.

Trade school will likely be an necessity. What then? When they interact with the peers at normal community college? I know no "Christian University" will teach you carpentry. But what then when they go to school for a trade they need and have to interact with the world at large?
