I can't say that playing with them improves my win ratio, but it sure is more fun. I like those guys.

I'm still in the n00b zone, definitely, but I've been ganked enough, and ganked enough, to get a bit of instinct for position, for wards, for map awareness, etc. And from what I've seen, there are some players who've been playing for years who aren't there.

Understatement of the century...lol.  Personally, I'm a mob ganker, I don't depend on my own personal skill to carry shit....but you already know that.   "Pile on top of the baddie boys, milk that fucker!" I've noticed that I do better with toons that punish, rather than the aggressive toons. The other guy fucks up, I don;t beat him, he beats himself, it's all mechanics to me, maybe I'm just incapable of capitalizing on my own accord.

Has Lilly been on, btw, she resurfaced from her snowy hole recently, like a godamned seal. That's a lane I fucking love. Me and missus, missus vae,....missus vae missuss vae missus vae...we got a thaaaaaaaaaang....gooooooin oooon....

I think the biggest mistake I make is when people QQ because the "jg isn't ganking," as though it's something I just choose to do. I've literally had teammate's die in front of the opponent's turret, and blame me for not "ganking."

When I do well is when I grind as fast as possible, hit soft spots as fast as possible, and most importantly fade away when the surprise advantage is lost. And most importantly, I have to keep momentum going from camp to camp to lane to camp. But what happens is I harry an opponent in lane, sending them back to turret, then move on, but my teammate stands around for 10 seconds and gets ganked.

I've literally told teammates at the start of a game that I'll be in and out fast, that they should put up wards and help position the enemy for a good ganking opportunity, and WAIT. But it's like herding cats, isn't it?

Get yourself more highly ranked, and it'll get more streamlined in general It's always an aggravation at levels where you can't count on people to play WITH you, even with communication. 

Playing with our mates on that TS? It's frustrating at times... try to make an easy easy easy play, but my understanding of it and theirs are oceans apart. Support gank? Almost impossible, and as if they'd notice wards placed in the river. Jungle gank? They aren't map aware, so they don't see me coming and don't plan accordingly, completely losing out on the advantage by the time i'm there (pushing to turret...), or backing as I'm about to engage. When I'm about to engage, my mind focuses on enemies, assuming my allies are with me when I'm ganking their lane (or otherwise organize this)... where is the jungler, when can the adc or top laner who backed get here, is flash blown on the mid, can we burst him down and win a two v 1 resulting with the jungler....

Math, right? More variables, more possibility of screwing up. Not having your ally there when there is literally zero reason for them to be backing by the turret while you gank their laner... that's an impossible challenge... because telling them I'm coming and targeting near to their enemy mid with a ping... somehow, can be interpreted as 'I got yer lane, bud'   It's the worst for win ratios. The disbelief is heavy upon my face at times like that. Then comes the verbal abuse, and a simple sigh... because they CANNOT BE TAUGHT!

I promise you... they CANNOT. BE. TAUGHT.

We almost have a team's worth of players right here on AF. I'm clearly not as experienced as you two, but I feel like I'm on the right side of the learning curve. Maybe we should try and bring the terror of baby-eaters to LoL.

Bait tryndas ult, btw, Iro..then hit him with that exhaust ignite combo...while dancing in his face.  GG.  Trynda is a gold farm for the opposition.  

You can't beat a properly runed Nasus in the toplane by yourself Sej.  He has @ 20% lifesteal at lvl 1.....all your HP belongs to Nasus, the tankier you are, the longer he can stay in lane.  You simply disrupt his farm to remove him from lategame (still wont work if he;s smart, he'll just build tank - thankfully he aint smart, as a rule), where he wrecks no matter how many times you might kill him.  Exhaust, again, is your friend, he can't counter exhaust.  Nasus is abusive top but depends heavily on the guy playing him understanding why, which they often don;'t, which is why you might find yourself winning and mis-attributing it to your build or personal skill.  Jungle beats Nasus, not the toplaner himself.  Been that way for ages.  On the "im playing Nasus" end, stat entirely for lifesteal, and bait the toplaner by deliberately trading to low health - and then stomping the shit out of him out of nowhere.  CDR is your friend, don;t build damage.  Shield and lucy are how you get damage, not actual -damage- items.  Makes you tanky as all get out too. 4/26/0 build (or even a support build with 4 points in offense -dirty secrets folks, dirty secrets).  You'll still hit harder than the adc, amusingly.

I wouldn't call a nasus with 20% lifesteal at lvl one properly runed. That would involve 3 ls quints, 11 points in the support tree to get that 3% ls and a dorans blade start. Hardly a meta nasus build. And I have beaten nasus before as trynd without much help from jg. I think i got an early kill somehow and then just snowballed after I got last whisper. Nasus isn't unbeatable like people think he is. Jax can also beat Nasus if he gets an early kill or two.

Maybe I'm just a really, really slow learner

Basically in a good match with Nasus, I'm an unstoppable shitbastard that can tank 3-4 of the team for several seconds and possibly take down two of them with me. Then when I'm fully snowballed I take down most of their remaining turrets and quite possibly their inhibs in moments.

In a bad match, I suck every kind of orifice it's possible to wrap my lips round. I think it does all depend on the really early game, getting those vital early stacks in and starting the snowball. If I'm denied early stacks it never usually ends well for me.

Also a problem I have is never knowing what to build first. Should I go with cooldown reduction or lifesteal items first? ADD is an annoying fucker to deal with when I have to make split-second decisions
