So, have we moved past the idea that too many terrorists are Muslim for it to simply be coincidence? Can we do away with the accusations of racism and actually start discussing WHY these people seem to be more likely to do this nonsense?
I would more generally advocate that one only leave one entrance into their mind(reason), and keep the rest of it rather closed, as it is one hell of a lot easier to shovel shit in than it is to get it out.
If the evidence and reason for you to believe something isn't really any better than the reason you should believe some rural farmer from Arkansas got anally probed by interstellar visitors, then you probably shouldn't.

You could argue a significant proportion of attacks are carried out by muslims, sure. But 99%? This is just flat out wrong and detracts from any point you may actually have. People aren't gonna listen if you're coming out with stuff like this.

Even if 100% of terrorism was committed by muslims, it wouldn't mean all muslims are terrorists. It would just mean all terrorists are muslims. Really not sure what your point is.

Racism is the MOST common accusation when one attempts to discuss the issue of violence in Islam. Surely you have noticed it?

This fact does not seem to affect the frequency of the accusation, does it.

Having said that, it'd be nice if more politicians were more nuanced ... but demagoguery gets votes, unfortunately.
