My opinion on imigrants from Syria.

Sadly I see the beginning of this century looking very much like the start of the last. I can see very dangerous times ahead.
It's a time when a world needs consummate professionals at the helm.

Europe is obviously going through the biggest imigration crysis since the second world war. Alot of people oppose these immigrants from coming over to european countries with which I completely disagree with.

Why should you get to decide if a country should take on people that they don't want?

I think that these people do not realise how lucky they are to live in a place without war and suffering.

They are lucky and they want to keep it that way.

Personally, if I had some space in my house I would take in a family.

You do have space. You just don't want to be inconvenienced by them.

Just imagine this. You're living in UK and suddenly the UK governement backed up by the army opens fire at you and citizens.

I would fire back.

You have no police to report it to and you have no way of fighting back.

I do have a way of fighting back.

You try to run but the whole place is patroled and guarded by armed gangs.

I would get out my sniper rifle and take them out. They wouldn't even know where I was to shoot back.

The only thing you can do is escape to a different country where there is no war!

I would hold my ground.

This is what happens to people in Syria. They can either stay and get killed, join ISIS or leave the country.

I would stay and kill ISIS.

So to finish off, I think people need to wise up, unite and help other humans in need.

You should start by taking some in. You can feed, clothe, and entertain them.

I genuinely do not have space available in my house. I live in a house with my parents and grand parents where my parents have to sleep in the living room because that's the only free space. I have started helping I started to donate money to a charity who helps syrian refugees. I know for a fact that you wouldn't kill ISIS or do any of the things you stated.

I can see the EU coming apart over an inability to deal with this situation, which, sadly, they have caused by holding out the illusion that all these refugees have to do is get there and the government will take care of them.

I agree with the first part, since they cherry pickers of the governments now show their real colors. I don't agree with the second part, since there never was a sentiment of everyone being welcome and it certainly hasn't been communicated.

The EU I voted for in 1994 was based on human rights and the four liberties. It has turned into a neocon capitalist experiment since then. By expanding too quickly with basically only taking an economic look at the candidates.

And it's not the biggest crisis of it's kind since the war. There was 1956, 1968 and 1992. These are at least the years we, in my country, remember, since they involved shooting wars at our borders and the influx of hundreds of thousands of refugees.

Escaping violence or merely migrating to escape poverty, Mexico, Asia or Syria, you are a human to me first, as long as you don't get violent or commit crimes, and as long as you support a secular pluralistic government, I welcome all.

What?? This does not compare at all to what those refugees just fled from and the kind of plight they are in.
