You can see how powerful, and enduring Jesus' message is through Pope Francis. And that the measure of [real] power is the opposite of what men perceive it to be!

The so called "soft power" of: Humility, Faith and Love is an all positive force that always grows, and grows. While "temporal power" greedily, and continually grows and dies
over the millennia in a viscous never ending cycle riddled with evil, pain and suffering. Its easy to see why most people are drawn to the message of Peace, Hope and Love!

Nations will rise, and fall. But the Church of Christ endures!

For all the evil that men do for personal gain... on either side of the religious line, Jesus' message of truth is still loud & clear. And is very much desired by the masses.
And always will be! Or, for as long as the message remains the same.

But Jesus intention was that he came for the Jews,and then the Jews spread it to the world but they did not listion.but not all of them listioned.
Jesus came to save everybody (1 John 2:2). Jesus Christ is God Himself (John 1:1). Jesus died on the cross as the payment for all our sins, and He rose from death in resurrection (1 Corinthians 15:3–4).

Jesus was traveling through Tyre and Sidon, a Gentile region, and “a Canaanite woman from that vicinity came to him, crying out, ‘Lord, Son of David, have mercy on me! My daughter is demon-possessed and suffering terribly’” (Matthew 15:22). This Gentile woman recognized Jesus as the Messiah (“Son of David”), but “Jesus did not answer a word” (verse 23). As the woman kept up her appeals, Jesus finally responded, but His words seemed to hold little hope: “I was sent only to the lost sheep of Israel” (verse 24). However, the woman did not give up, and Jesus eventually granted her request, based on her “great faith”

I agree that 'the church of Christ endures', but what of it? Even the devout suffer the ravages of famine, disease, natural disasters, hunger and a countless litany of other horrors. Where is the compassion of Christ for the infant with harlequin ichthyosis? For people slowly starving to death because the local warlord has interrupted the food shipment? For the village wiped out by a tsunami?

The power of churches is a fiction, kids. Grow up. If gods really, seriously cared for their followers, prayers would be answered at a significantly higher rate than chance (and don't post links to this or that study showing the efficacy of prayer. GIGO.). Why doesn't your loving god do something about the flood of Syrian refugees, or malarial epidemics, or crop failures, or any of the myriad of other things that are inimical to human happiness? Every discovery - without exception - that has made human beings happier, healthier or safer has been the result of the painstaking work of human men and women. No gods need apply.

What's that? There's a better life a-comin'? That's the trouble with you religionists - it's always jelly today and jelly tomorrow, but fuck-all for today.

Well in the bible it states that god gave the world to us and the enemy rules around here, this is because of Adam & eve's sin. so the fact that they did sin changed how god was planning on guiding us on earth & that's why god can't do anything about it all but giving your heart & life to him is the way he gets to guide us while we do his will down on earth.Want to know more do some research on Google type in your question there and it will give you one.

The Roman Empire split into the eastern empire and the western. The Eastern Empire / Byzantine empire eventually fell. The Western Empire became the Catholic church which could rule countries more efficiently without the use of armies and force.
