You may get a better idea what it's being like being an atheist from my music. Most of you will probably have heard the first two songs, from my first album, "Type your album name here". Yeah, but of a cockup there. But you won't have heard my new single, because I just recorded it. Unless you're spying on me, I guess.
Warning: may be unsuitable for some viewers who don't like shit stuff. Enjoy! Click to reveal each one. Turn on the subtitles for the first two, it's hilarious! It's what it automatically picked up me saying. Once the video has started, click on the little CC button at the bottom right, to the left of the settings cog Does anyone know how I can edit them on youtube so that the subtitles come on by default when viewed? God is in my hand Chainsaw of logic (eagle eyed viewers will be able to spot my actual chainsaw during the video) New: Dealing with facts Feel free to send me a private message.

Man, I've gotta get to the UK one of these days, so we can have some beers together. At British Room Temperature, of course. You seem like just the kind of person I'd enjoy hanging with, who doesn't take themselves seriously when it's time to not take yourself seriously. Shame you're on the wrong side of the Atlantic. (Or the right side, since I live in the Homeland of the Fundamentalist Nutter.)
A Christian told me: if you were saved you cant lose your salvation. you're sealed with the Holy Ghost
I replied: Can I refuse? Because I find the entire concept of vicarious blood sacrifice atonement to be morally abhorrent, the concept of holding flawed creatures permanently accountable for social misbehaviors and thought crimes to be morally abhorrent, and the concept of calling something "free" when it comes with the strings of subjugation and obedience perhaps the most morally abhorrent of all... and that's without even going into the history of justifying genocide, slavery, rape, misogyny, religious intolerance, and suppression of free speech which has been attributed by your own scriptures to your deity. I want a refund. I would burn happily rather than serve the monster you profess to love. Quote:My questions: 1) In a nutshell. 13 billion years old universe, 3,5 billion years old earth. 2 million years of humans being around, if we take a generous estimate. That's roughly 2 percent of the time, dinosaurs roamed the earth. 5000 years of organised religion, 2000 years of christianity. So, for me, all the scripted, geocentric gods are out of the window. 2) Atheism isn't what I am. Outside of here, I don't spend a single second reflecting on me being an atheist. Where I live, religion isn't part of dailly life and conversations anyway. 3) What purpose? The purpose of life is living it and caring for the loved ones. 4) Same as before birth. Not existing. 5) No, atheism, as I said above, isn't what I am or what my values are about. Other outside influences have changed me over the decades. But that's just a natural development.
